Stopwatch Calculator Operation
Will calculate digital stopwatch timer times for minutes, seconds and tenths of seconds. Full entry times should be entered with 2 decimal points. If less than 2 decimal points are used, times will be interpreted. Can be used to add up event times such as rodeo times or lap timer times from races.
Entry examples:
- 34.25.8 is interpreted as 34 minutes 25 seconds and 8 tenths of a second.
- 4.5.8 is interpreted as 4 minutes 5 seconds and 8 tenths of a second
- 04.05.8 is interpreted as 4 minutes 5 seconds and 8 tenths of a second
- 5.8 is interpreted as 5 seconds and 8 tenths of a second
- 5 is interpreted as 5 seconds
Hours are limited to 99. More than 99 hours will reset to 0. Less than 0 hours will subtract from 100.
More than 1 decimal place in the tenths of seconds will cause an error.
You can use numbers and the enter button on your keyboard without using your mouse except to change the operation to subtraction. You can also enter negative numbers (-4.5.8) from your keypad then you do not need to change to subtraction.
